Hotel Accommodations & Reservations
WNFM attendees can book a room at either hotel linked below - as the two hotels are connected; however, all 2023 Annual Meeting/Conference sessions will be held at the Grand Hotel Union Eurostars. Rooms at Grand Hotel Union Eurostars are limited; if you are unable to book a room at this hotel, please be sure to make a reservation at the Eurostars UHotel.

**Four Points by Sheraton will provide a shuttle in the morning from the Sheraton hotel to the Grand Hotel Union Eurostars for conference sessions; attendees will be on their own for transportation back to the Sheraton at the conclusion of the day's conference events.

Hotel Parking: Car parking is available at the shared onsite garage for the two hotels: Self-Parking Fee: $19 EUR / day + taxes;
Transportation from Airport: Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport (also known as Brnik Airport) is approximately 19 miles (roughly 30 minutes drive time) to the Grand Hotel Union EuroStars. The hotel does offer shuttles to and from the airport for $43 EUR (one way) and can accommodate up to 3 people in the shuttle. If attendees would like the hotel to organize the transportation, please call the hotel or indicate this request in your reservation notes/booking link.

Early Registration – if paid by May 5, 2023- WNFM Member: $975.00
- Non-member: $1550.00
Late Registration – if paid after May 5, 2023
- WNFM Member: $1075.00
- Non-member: $1650.00
Registration fee includes payment for Welcome Reception and Farewell Dinner (guests attending the Farewell Dinner must pay $50). Refunds will only be given for fees cancelled on or before May 12, 2023; however, substitutions are always accepted. Registration fees must be paid prior to May 26, 2023.
City Tour with Ljubljana Tourism (SOLD OUT)
Sunday, June 4 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. CET
In the company of your guide, you will take a walking tour of the historical city centre during which you will be immersed in the history and stories behind Ljubljana's major sights. From the Prešernov trg square, dominated by the Franciscan Church and connected to the Triple Bridge, you will head towards Plečnik's Market and the Cathedral, continue to the Town Hall and the Robba Fountain, cross the Cobblers' Bridge, pass the National and University Library to reach the Križanke Summer Theatre, and continue towards the Kongresni trg square.
In the heart of the city, you will embark on a tourist boat that will take you along the Ljubljanica River, whose interesting bridges and picturesque embankments give Ljubljana its distinctive appearance.

Tour of Nuklearna elektrarna Krško Nuclear Power Plant (SOLD OUT)
Wednesday, June 7 from 7:15-3:00 p.m. CET As a part of the 2023 Annual Meeting & International Conference, WNFM – in partnership with Nuklearna elektrarna Krško (NEK) – is pleased to offer a technical tour of the NEK facilities in Krško, Slovenia.
Attendees of the tour will get to visit the facility buildings that contain the condenser, turbines, and generator – assuming no training is taking place, the group will also be able to see a full-scope simulator for operating personnel training. The tour will not visit building facilities that cover the technological process (radiologically controlled area with reactor, LILRW storage, or spent fuel storage).
Dress Code Requirements: Long pants are required, no skirts, capris or shorts. Flat closed-in shoes or safety shoes are required, no open toes, heels, high heels, or sandals. All attendees must bring a valid passport / photo ID for entry into the plant.
For scheduling purposes, please be aware that the group will depart from the Grand Hotel Union EuroStars by bus at 7:15 a.m. CET on Wednesday, June 7. The tour will last about four or 4.5 hours and lunch will be provided on site. Departure from the NEK facility is anticipated to be around 1:00-1:30, arriving back in Ljubljana around 3:00/3:30 p.m. CST.
